Books for a 11 year old?

Hi there! My 10 year old daughter just finished Madeleine L'Engle's "A Wrinkle in Time" and enjoyed it greatly. It has sequels, but is a great stand-alone book. I liked John Christopher's "White Mountains" trilogy when I was your age. Good luck!
